Clive Collinson was one of my art teachers before I went to Uni. When I was living in Deniliquin, he used to travel from Melbourne one weekend a month to teach the group of painters that I was involved with, and always stayed at my home. He was the person who inspired me to take my art further and go to University. Sadly he died suddenly around 1990 - 1991, and never got to know that he was my major inspiration. This Collograph of Clive was produced when I was in Year One at La Trobe University in Bendigo in 1992 during a Printmaking class. I won a Uni Printmaking prize for this work.
