Colin Morris 1901 - 1993. Born in Presteigne, Wales in 1901. Migrated to Australia with his parents in 1911. This portrait was one of the very first portraits that I painted. My father was blind, and when sitting for this portrait, he was sitting by the fire listening to a talking book. He was 85 years old when this was painted.
